I’m working on practicing my accordion(s)… It’s a joy!
That being said, it can be frustrating, too. On the right side is where the keyboard lives… As a lifelong piano player, OK – got it.
But the left hand/bass buttons… Oh boy! I feel like a brand new student, here… Which – I guess I am!
Are you a music theorist? Are you familiar with the Circle of 5ths? Once you find C on the LH side, much is based on the 5ths pattern. But the minor buttons… It doesn’t quite make sense to me yet. Can someone explain?
My friend Peter gave me this book to work from… So I am!
My first [private] “gig” is in a few weeks. I know how to play songs with only three chords (three buttons) in the LH, if needed – but I’m hoping to learn a bit more than that. #ProgressNotPerfection
